User Experience, Research and Design
Equilibium uses a generic definition for a broad-based variety of engagements. User experience (UX) research and design is the process the Equilibrium appointed design team use to create products and the attendant support services that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users.
The Equilibium approach involves the research of the product and support services required, and the ultimate design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.
During the design and planning phase Equilibium documents and schedules the business resources (people, policies, standards, regulations, procedures, processes, user guides, instructions and communications) to deliver the customer experience. These interactions, as well as the interface itself, make up the user experience and an important part of that process is to test the user experience with small groups so knowledge and feedback can be integrated into the final transition and for ongoing support. Equilibium has in-house expertise with UX and, can find and place subject matter experts nationally.
