New Business Development is often misrepresented as a straight sales function.  

This is not correct as we have discovered through our experience that concentrating only on sales is sometimes bad for business! Often our customers will decide that a new (or better, more aggressive) sales person is the answer to all of their problems.  "Sell more", they say, without thinking about the counterpoint.  If you sell more, can you make more, or buy more or get the product to your customer in a reasonable timeframe?

 

This is when real new business development begins, understanding the business, before trying to develop it is crucial to any growth strategy.  Let us help you through this minefield.
